San Sebastian Junior Tritons made an emphatic 3rd place finish in the 90th season of the NCAA Swimming Competition on August 20-22, 2014 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium, Manila.
Contributing for the team finish were Carl Patrick M. Bormate of IV-St John Bosco, Bronze medalist in 200m Backstroke, Vanne Zendrix Yumol of IV- St. Augustine and Gerald Magadia of IV-St. John Bosco, finalists in 100m Breaststroke, and Ed Russell Purisima of IV- St. John Bosco, finalist in 200m Butterfly.
The outcome though of the event turned out quite disappointing for the team especially that it was the last Junior NCAA tournament of the 4 senior students. “Lahat nga kami ay dismayadosa kinahinatnan ng team sa kompetisyon ngayong taon,” team captain Bormate said.
LSGH Green Torpedoes topped the tournament surpassing last year’s champs San Beda College Sea Lions.
