The whole Sebastinian community does their own preparations and holds activities in anticipation of the papal visit. One of which is the singing the official theme song of the Papal Visit, ‘We Are All God’s Children’ everyday as a part of the morning ceremonies.

The High School Department, through the initiations of the CLF Department, the Campus Ministry Office, and the Institute of Religious Studies and Philosophy, prepared their Journal Writing manifesting their enthrallment on this biggest Catholic Celebration. Classes also pray the rosary to respond to the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines’ (CBCP) call to pray for the Pope’s safety here in the country as.

On January 16, students will line up along the Jose P. Laurel Bridge to welcome the Pope on his way to the Malacañang Palace. Moreover, on January 18, the Grade 9 and 4th Year students will walk their way to Quirino Grandstand for the Papal Mass.

As the song ‘We Are All God’s Children’ goes: “True kindness and humility.” As one Sebastinian Family, let us heed the call for mercy and compassion to everyone especially to the needy. “Help one another; this is what Jesus teaches us. This is what I do and I do it with my heart,” Pope Francis reminds everyone of us.
